I’m Katrina Soholt (she/her), an actor/singer currently based in Chicago, Illinois.

 

As of 2021, I am a proud alum of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, where I graduated magna cum laude in Theatre Arts. During my time in the program, I spent a semester abroad in London, England, interning as a theater administrator for Upstairs at the Gatehouse. The experience led me to further appreciate every stage of creation. In the midst of the pandemic, I took on a virtual internship as a social media manager for Broadway Official Online Masterclass, a program working to make musical theatre training more accessible. The opportunity allowed me to work with composers, lyricists, actors and dancers from both the West End and Broadway. 

 

Early in 2022, I desired to grow my skill set in voice acting and began taking lessons from London based coach and talent, Marisa Dargahi. Most notably voicing a product launch for the Nikon Plena lens as well as a national Great Clips commercial for the 2022 and 2023 College football playoff season.

 

While my love and appreciation for the stage remains, my passion for on camera work has grown. The ability to convey such intimate and profound connections with the camera was something that drew me in immediately. I am looking forward to continuing my work in this area.

 

As an art form for all, the acting world should reflect that in every aspect. I am passionate about contributing to a safer and more equitable space in this industry.
